What is Stress?
The feeling of one being “stressed” has become a common expression an individual can experience in their everyday lives. It is merely impossibly to lead a life without stress. Adolescents experience stress at school – the pressure of acing assignments, passing exams all while sustaining a decent social life. Employees experience stress at work – the hassle of meeting deadlines, closing deals, etc. Stress is connected to almost every aspect of an individual lives from financial pressures or relationship demands; stress is common and inevitable. However, stress is neither positive nor negative. Stress is the mental and physical response of one’s bodies to various demands or expectations of their lives. People tend to progress coping mechanisms to aid with the stress they experience which leads to personal growth or health concerns.
