The hamburger or "burger" for short was introduced in 1902 at the World Fair in St. Louis. Traditionally the hamburger is made from 100% beef, but because it is enjoyed across the world by people with different cultures and beliefs there are quite a few different variants of the hamburger.

From all the variants of the hamburger, a collection of recipes and topping combinations have been gathered that are used across restaurants and competitions around the world.
