George Washington Carver was a scientist, and a teacher in the agricultural field, whose love and dedication for nature took him to travel miles to get an education in the time of segregation in the United States.

Since George Carver was a kid, he was in constant contact with nature, and years later, he could complete his high school and apply to college but, the college turned him down because of his race. However, his motivation to learn more impulse him to apply again to another college where he was accepted. George W. Carver was the first African American man who earned a degree and a master's in agricultural science.
