Introduction

Smoking is considered the biggest problem that has not found a solution yet furthermore it has become bigger and bigger, especially among teenagers younger than 18 years old. According to the World Health Organization (2004), the dangerous consequences of teenagers' age and the diseases that follow it affect the physical health and mental development of smokers at a young age, it is especially evident in poor countries that do not have the means to monitor and target this age group. According to the same organization, nicotine addiction in adolescence seriously affects health and brain development. The study conducted by the World Health Organization aimed to analyze the data of the Indonesian health survey for the year 2013(RISKESDAS) To explore the prevalence of smoking among Indonesian adolescents and to find effective ways to prevent and reduce its spread among the general public and especially among adolescents.
