It is necessary to find suitable ways to deal with this problem. It is important to study pesticide regulations for its useful and safe usage according to EU practices.

 Pesticides Registration:
All pesticides and their active ingredients must be registered in the authority offices like EFSA and FOCUS.

Product-specific pattern:

In the field, when using pesticides, farmers need to follow a specific usage plan outlined in the Good Agriculture Practice table. This describes the timing, crop, amount, and target pest for pesticide application.  (Faupel, et al., 2023) 

New Technique and equipment:

Using sprayers to apply pesticides in the field without any wastage and excessive use can help protect the environment and human health. Moreover, drones for crop monitoring can be used to increase productivity.

 

Pesticides Reduction:

By following a field management system like ‘Precision farming ’ in which pesticides are spatially applied only to the area where it is required rather than to the whole field. Such practices leads to reduced pesticide usage by applying it to only the required area and at an adequate time.  (Faupel, et al., 2023) This method is not only cost-efficient for farmers but also environmentally friendly. This method can also be used to supply water and nutrients to individual plants of mixed crops for more productivity.
