About Recycling
In the modern world that we all live in today, we tend to forget
where our waste products go to, such as garbage, electronics, compost,
and even water. The word "recycle" carries significant meaning,
especially considering the examples mentioned above and the human
development sector, which has advanced significantly to create newer
products with less waste. Our waste management system in this modern age
has amplified the care for our world, promoting better sustainability.
In this paper, I will cover various recycling technologies and their
applications to natural and fossil fuel industries.
Recycling technologies are crucial for managing waste, conserving resources, and reducing ecological footprints in modern industries. Pyrolysis, mechanical recycling, chemical treatment, and fluidized bed processing each have their advantages and disadvantages. The environmental benefits of recycling, as demonstrated by LCA and MFA studies on EV battery systems and wind turbines, are significant. Challenges such as research and development costs remain, but advancements in recycling technologies will enhance sustainability and create a greener future.
