RESOLUTION AND SETTINGS

Here are the settings to use in Adobe Premiere when creating a project in High Definition (HD 720p) and exporting your project in either HD (for College screenings) or in Standard Definition (SD 480i - for DVD).

STARTING A PROJECT IN ADOBE PREMIERE

HD 720p is now the video standard within the BAA Animation Program. These are the correct settings to use when first creating a high definition project in Adobe Premiere:

EXPORT FOR SCREENINGS --- HIGH-DEFINITION 720p

These are the video settings to use in Adobe Media Encoder (in Adobe Premiere) when creating an mpeg-2 video file for screenings within the College e.g. the Leica Reel Screening or Industry Day:

NB - Note that the audio settings page is not shown here but is found on a 2nd tab within this window. The correct settings for HD audio export are 48 khz, 16 bit, stereo, MPEG

EXPORT FOR DVD --- STANDARD-DEFINITION 480i

These are the video settings to use in Adobe Media Encoder (in Adobe Premiere) when creating an mpeg-2 video file for DVD compilation or for use on a home (i.e Standard Definition) TV (also known as 480i):

NB - Note that the audio settings page is not shown here but is found on a 2nd tab within this window. The correct settings for SD audio export are the same as for HD - 48 khz, 16 bit, stereo, PCM
