These all contribute to having negative effects and impacts on a child’s life. The effects of child abuse not only impact the health but also the academic performance, behavioural and psychological aspects of a child. It is important that society recognize these signs of abuse and neglect. Preventative measures play a crucial role in controlling and ending child abuse. Programs like CAPTA contributes to creating a supportive environment in raising awareness of Child abuse. Education and awareness campaigns is one of the most important preventative measures as this share the knowledges and skills needed to recognize and prevent child abuse. Altogether, society must strive to create environments that protects and love all children. By working together, the cycle of abuse towards children can be broken.
