Class Plan
We are required to make the course Class Plan available to
you at all times during the course. You can
view the Prog32758 class plan at
any time from SLATE, but feel free to bookmark it.
Read over the Class Plan and become familiar with it. Make
sure you read over each section:
- The course calendar - a list of each lesson's notes and
deliverables.
- Professor contact information.
- Course description - includes info about course topics,
textbook, and required software.
- Course evaluation - how you are evaluated.
- Course Policies - all policies for this course, including
Note that failure to read and become familiar with these policies
is not an excuse for failing to abide by those policies.
- Classroom Policies - policies you must abide by while in
the classroom, including Sheridan's Acceptable Use Policy,
Code of Conduct, attendance, behaviour, etc.
Note that failure to read and become familiar with these policies
is not an excuse for failing to abide by those policies.
Coding & Submission Standards for Assignments
The coding and submission standards for this course are
the same as those you should have been following in your previous
Java, web development, and web programming courses. Standards
are taken very seriously in this course, including documentation,
indentation/spacing, and other coding conventions. Failure to
follow industry standards will resort in lost marks on exercises,
assignments, and exams.
