The humans contribute to the consumption of wildlife, they can also contribute to protecting and preserving them using modern methods that limit the causes of environmental pollution and limit poaching because it contributes to preserving large numbers of animals. The laws for preserving and protecting wildlife aim to several Goals such as ensuring good ethical treatment of wildlife, protecting humans, and ensuring their safety, and at the first level, maintaining the number of wildlife species at a level that does not disturb human populations and keeping the environment healthy and meeting all the recreational needs of humans. To protect wildlife, states enacted laws, such as the Lacey Act in 1900, to prevent the killing of game by hunters in the states. The laws evolved into establishing laws prohibiting the import, export, transportation, purchase, or sale of species when this measure is violated. Congress recently amended the Lacey Act, expanding the items it covers, such as timber and wood products, as well as laws prohibiting the importation of animals exporting them, ensuring that the animal does not die during the display, providing protection for it as animals threatened with extinction, and exposing the business owner to fines and penalties if any accident occurs to the animal. Such laws help governments protect the environment.
