Symptons
Alzheimer’s disease mainly impacts a person’s memory, the way they think, and their behaviour. Some symptons that one may experience are:
- Memory loss
- Misplacing items
- Difficulty recalling a recent conversation
- Confusion of time
- Mood swings
- Frustration
- Restlessness
As the disease gets worse symptoms will become more noticeable and start to have an impact on one’s daily life. Memory loss is a lot worse as most people are unable to even recall their full name or even their address. There tends to be a lot more confusion about time. Not just time on a clock but the time of year, season, date and so forth. With all these changes happening and an individual not knowing how to cope their behaviour tends to change a lot as well. They are a lot more irritable and they begin to experience a lot more mood swings. Some help with day to activities may be require just to ensure they are on the right track.
