CAUSES OF AIDS
HIV/AIDS can spread from fluids in the body of an infected person to
an uninfected person, this can include breast milk, blood, semen and
vaginal fluid.
There are still ways that HIV/AIDS can’t spread out, through the
following, kisses, hugs sharing of food, touches etc.
HIV/AIDS can be passed from mother to child through breast feeding,
it can be transmitted virus,
HIV is found in certain bodily fluids. It can be passed from one
person to another through:
Unprotected sex with someone who has HIV
Sharing needles or syringes
Blood transfusions with infected blood (rare in countries with safe
blood supplies)
From mother to baby during pregnancy, birth, or breastfeeding
Contact with infected blood (open wounds, cuts)
HIV is NOT spread by:
Hugging, kissing, shaking hands
Sharing food or drinks
Toilet seats
Insect bites
