Solutions

  • There are many solutions people can do to protect their life, environment, and society. The question here, how can people save their environment and avoid further deterioration of their natural resources?
  • Reducing food waste is one of the most cost-effective solutions for people and businesses to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.
  • According to (Gainer, 2020, para 4), Cal Recycle, the state agency in charge of drafting SB1383 rules, is pushing all local governments, food-related companies, and people to plan ahead of time for its implementation and mandatory record keeping for responsibility. In addition, "SB1838 sets forth ambitious new regulations for food waste decrease, with a target of 75% elimination by 2025."
  • Organic wastes, which includes trash that may be easily avoided, recycled, or put into compost, account for 30-40% of all garbage thrown of in most parts of the United States (Gainer, 2020, para 1).
  • Additionally, collaborative action is required to reduce the effects of climate change. Non-government organizations (NGOs) have a significant part in developing a sustainable and environmentally friendly culture, building alliances with owners and governments, and advancing research and education in community.
  • Harnessing sources of clean energy, such as solar panels on rooftops, provides an environmentally friendly option to traditional energy generation. Collaboration across science, politics, and economics is critical to making greener energy solutions available and cheap (Yar, 2021, p. 1).
  • Therefore, people should continue working together to find more solutions which can help in reducing global warming.
