Symptoms
Sickle cell may have its obstacles as each time a person who suffers
from this disease may go through crises. A crisis can happen at any
given time similar to a seizure but can last from a few days to a few
weeks and may require hospitalization if medication and treatment at
home cannot ease the symptoms within a timely manner. It takes time to
recover from a crisis as medication and rehabilitation is needed to be
able to balance walking if the crisis in the leg(s) or using the limbs.
