A Natural disaster is a harmful event which causes great damage to life and property of common people. There are different types of natural disasters caused by different environment factors such as storms, droughts, floods, fires and heat waves.

 Every day, natural disasters may happen practically anywhere in the world. However, the occurrence at some locations is more likely than at others due to the geological conditions and the geomorphological implications.

 Even extremely uncommon catastrophes can happen, as the 2012 meteorite hit in Siberia that only occurs fewer than once a year, based on data. However, if it had been a meteorite with a diameter of only a few millimeters, it would have formed an impact crater that might have completely destroyed a mid-sized town.
