IMPACT OF DEFORESTATION

Forest is a home of many animals and by cutting down forests we are cutting their homes with it. Forest maintains an ecosystem and we need maintain this balance otherwise we will face drastic consequences. We all know trees inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, but if we keep cutting down trees the carbon dioxide proportion will increase in the atmosphere which is not good for climate. The temperature will rise, climate will change, ozone layer which is already damaged will damage further. Moreover, cutting trees leads to soil erosion, floods and things may get even worse in the future.
