Research Results about Pesticides

Impacts of pesticides on human healthImpacts of pesticides on human health:

Respiratory issues:

The Brazilian population is highly impacted by the use of pesticides in crop preservation as lately it is being consumed by the public and causing serious respiratory illness. Most people face difficulty breathing and speaking as their throats are badly infected. It can result in fatality if not treated on time and seriously.

Pesticides in human tissues:

Research has examined the levels of pesticides and their breakdown products in human samples, such as hair and blood, from workers in Brazil's South and Southeast regions. The findings revealed the presence of toxic metals like arsenic, nickel, manganese, zinc, and copper, which are associated with long-term pesticide exposure and increase the risk of developing related health disorders. (Lopes-Ferreira, et al., 2022)

DNA Damage:

Research has shown a most significant impact on genetic toxicity, which disturbs normal metabolic and oxidative processes, leading to DNA damage and heritable changes in gene expression. (Lopes-Ferreira, et al., 2022) It also alters the hormone levels, infertility, and miscarriages in women.

Dangerous Diseases:

It also leads to various other serious problems in the Brazilian public like skin and eye irritations, pain, hair loss, skin infections, metabolic imbalances, digestive issues, liver functioning, and allergies.
